The following meditation retreat is to be held at the Waterpalm Resort
near Khao Lak beach in Phang Nga Province.

Sunday, December 20 to Sunday 27:
8 days: 7 nights - Integral Awareness

This December retreat is very similar to traditional Buddhist Vipassana in terms of practice
but more innovative in approach and, although respectful of tradition, not restrictively religious.
The first full day is a day for rest, relaxation and exploring the area.

The Waterpalm Resort is a couple of kilometres from the bustling markets, restaurants and facilities of Khao Lak town. It’s about 60 kilometres north of Phuket.  Phuket International Airport is 74 kilometres south of the resort.

Without being too luxurious, it is cool, clean and comfortable. There is a choice of air-conditioned single rooms, twin-bed rooms and 4-bed rooms with private bathrooms and a big balcony to practise walking meditation and take in the view. There’s also a large meeting room suitable for group practice.

Mini-van transport from and to Phuket airport is available on request.

This is not ‘boot camp’ retreat, however from the third day, the practice is mainly silent and fairly intense.

Instruction will be in English. The retreat is led by Acharn Helen Jandamit (formerly Rev. Saddharma)

This is a not-for-profit venture but in order to cover expenses there is a fee. Please scroll down for details.
